The eagles pictures biography book

Bookviews, October 2011
“Lovers of rock and roll and fans of the Eagles are going to want to find Eagles: Taking it to the Limit by Ben Fong-Torres in their Christmas stocking…. the book is handsomely and extensively illustrated with many photos from the past four decades, along with an excellent text.”

Tulsa World
“The book’s as much a visual conversation piece as a written history — full-page photos in black and white and color hold down nearly every two-page spread.  Then there is the drama. Lots and lots of drama…”

Henry L. Carrigan Jr., Evanston, IL, Library Journal
“Because Fong-Torres was so close to the band, this is kind of an insider's story and a fan's appreciative notes rolled into one, accompanied by stunning photographs. If you can buy only one book about the Eagles, this should be it.”

AmericanProfile.com
“Timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the California-based musical supergroup, this impressive collection of sharp rock journalism and fly-on-the-wall photography chronicles the heady rise, rancorous fall and almost unbelievable reunion of the band that ruled the '70s and '80s air(waves) with "Take It Easy," "Desperado," "Hotel California" and dozens of other now-classic radio hits.”
